The attackers, armed with AK-47 rifles, reportedly shot the victim before firing in the air to disperse traders and members of the public, making away with KSh 800,000 in cash.
The suspects, who were riding a motorcycle without a registration number, fled towards the Busia–Adungosi road and are believed to have escaped into neighboring Uganda.
