The family of the late Rachael Wandeto is in shock after they were unable to bury thier daughter. The family left kerugoya at 5 am in the morning to Montezuma funeral home in Kabati but were informed the ceremony was halted following a court order. Mourners,friends and relatives gathered at the kerugoya stadium were later informed the deceased’s husband, Peter njaramba obtained a court order stopping the burial It remains unclear why Njaramba with whom Wandeto had two children, moved to court to block the burial yet he had been attending daily prayers in kerugoya and had never talked to the family over any court battle. As uncertainty lingered mourners proceeded to Kabumbu village for prayers and planted a banana plant before deciding on their next course of action.
