Residents of Garsen Constituency have been urged to stop transferring their voter registration to Lamu County and Garissa County. Speaking at Shauri Moyo village, senator Danson Mungatana and Garsen Mp Ali Wario, said the trend is affecting the number of registered voters in the area and could weaken the region’s political influence as well as hinder development in Tana River County. The leaders called on residents to support the development of their area by maintaining their voter registration within Tana River County instead of transferring it to other regions.
