CS Anna Cheptumo Warns Parents Amid Rise in Missing and Child Killings

After a rise in cases of missing children who were later found dead nationwide, the government, through the Ministry of Gender, is urging parents to ensure their children’s safety at home. Speaking in Koromangucha, Kuria East, CS Genger Anna Cheptumo called for closer cooperation between police and parents so that incidents are reported promptly and victims receive appropriate support. Cheptumo also warned against purchasing children for as much as fifty thousand shillings, urging people to follow the proper adoption procedures set out in the Constitution of Kenya to avoid arrest.
