31 Anti-Ebola Protesters Arraigned in Nanyuki Court

Some 31 protesters arrested during the Ant-Ebola quarantine and Isolation facility in Laikipia airbase arraigned at the Nanyuki law court.

Seven of the suspeccts who appeared before senior magistrate Daniel Ngayo pleaded guilty to the offence and each fined sh10,000 while 14 denied committing the offence and were released on a bond of sh50,000 plus a surety.

Sheria mashinani Advocate Derrick Maingi who represented the accused lauded the court noting the fine issued was lenient and majority of the suspects could afford.
