Chiefs, assistant chiefs and senior security administrators from across Tharaka Nithi County have gathered in Mitheru Ward, Maara Constituency, for a three-day conference aimed at strengthening their understanding of how data collected at the grassroots level contributes to national planning.
County Commissioner David Gitonga said information gathered by National Government Administration Officers (NGAO) plays a critical role in shaping government policies, development priorities and resource allocation.
Officials from the State Department of Planning emphasized that accurate data remains essential for effective decision-making and successful implementation of government programmes.
