Nairobi County Governor Johnson Sakaja has provided an update on the implementation of key development projects aimed at transforming the capital city.
According to the latest progress report, the Nairobi River Regeneration Programme is now 77% complete, while work continues on roads, markets, water and sewer connectivity, and the rollout of 40,000 solar street lights.
The report also indicates that eight modern markets are under construction, with additional markets in the planning phase, while major investments in water and sewer infrastructure are expected to improve access to essential services for thousands of residents.
